colorado snowshoeingPlease join us for private guided snowshoe and skiing trips in Rocky Mountain National Park. The snowshoe and ski trips are by private scheduling for you and your group. You may choose where and when you want to go. Besides being professional guides, we are also naturalists. So along the way we will teach you about the plants and animals of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Kaiyote Tours is authorized by the National Park Service, Department of Interior, to conduct services in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Snowshoeing - Private Trips
Cost:
Snowshoe prices include snowshoes and poles.  $45 per person (minimum 2 people), discounts for groups of 5 or more
Ages: Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
Group Limit: Our snowshoe trips are private tours with no limit for the number in your group.

Snowshoe fee does not include your admission fee into Rocky Mountain National Park, which is $20 per week per vehicle.

Starting at Bear Lake:
Around Bear Lake .75 mile (very easy)
Nymph Lake 1.2 miles round trip (easy)
Dream Lake 2.2 miles round trip (moderate)

Starting at Glacier Gorge:
Alberta Falls 1.4 miles round trip (very easy)
Glacier Gorge 2.8 miles round trip (easy)

The Bear Lake and Glacier Gorge areas of Rocky Mountain National Park are some of the most spectacular and snowy places in the Park. Any choice of destination will be perfect.

Cross-country (Nordic) Skiing – Private trips
Cost: $85 per person which includes skis, boots and poles.
Ages: Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
Group Limit: Our ski trips are private tours with no limit for the number in your group.

Skiing fee does not include your admission fee into Rocky Mountain National Park, which is $20 per week per vehicle.

2) Water; 1 liter
3) Snacks
4) Sunscreen; for lips too
5) Hat and Gloves
6) Scarf/Ski Mask to cover face
7) Wind coat and Wind Pants
8) Sunglasses and/or Ski Goggles
9) Emergency Whistle

If you have a Park Pass or valid entrance receipt, please bring it along. If you do not have a pass, you may purchase a $20.00 vehicle pass at the entrance gate the day of the hike. The pass will be good for 7 days.

1) Layered comfortable clothes.
2) Be prepared for both warm and cold weather.
3) Be prepared for strong winds.
4) Shoes: Either hiking boots or winter boots. They need to be warm & waterproof.

We have outdoor clothing and gear that you can borrow if you need. Please ask.

Payment and cancellation policy

Full payment is due 72 hours prior to tour. There are no refunds within 72 hours of tour.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
